Why now

Crawlers, scrapers, and AI agents now make up the majority of requests hitting most sites, yet the analytics tools everyone uses were built to filter that traffic out. The result is a blind spot exactly where the web is changing fastest. Lume exists to remove it.

What we believe

Visibility over blocking. Lume’s job is to show you the truth about your traffic and prove which agents are authentic. What you do with that (allow, log, rate-limit) is your decision, not ours to gatekeep.

Understate, never overstate. Every number on this site is computed from the live catalog, and we only call an agent “verified” when we can cryptographically prove it. When we can’t, we say so.

Privacy by construction. We never store a full client IP. Truncation happens before anything is written down, not after.
